Pokemon Go prankster faces $425 fine for TTC track stunt | Toronto Star
“It’s very dangerous. You can face death or a big fine and charges,” TTC spokesperson Brad Ross said.
A man who walked on subway tracks for a video making fun of Pokemon Go players is now facing charges — and he says that’s fair.
The charge comes with a set $425 fine and a court appearance on Sept. 16.
The video, published in July, satirized Pokemon Go, a mobile game that has exploded in popularity. In the video, a man can been seen playing the game and pretending to bump into obstacles, falling into Lake Ontario and briefly walking on the subway tracks at Union station.
The man in the video, Mark Correia, is an actor and part of a production company called the Noodle Boys.
